New Feature: Withings Integration & Smarter Syncing

We are thrilled to announce that Withings is now fully integrated into obseed! Whether you use a Withings smart scale, a blood pressure monitor, or one of their wearables, you can now seamlessly bring all your physiological data into your obseed dashboard.

What Data We Sync

Our new integration securely connects to your Withings account and automatically imports a comprehensive set of health metrics:

• Body Composition: Weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass, and hydration levels.
• Blood Pressure: Systolic and diastolic measurements.
• Sleep Data: Detailed sleep stages and duration.
• Daily Activity: Step counts and daily movement.

This provides a more holistic view of your health and recovery, seamlessly combining your everyday metrics with your training data.

Real-Time & Historical Syncs

We’ve completely overhauled how data flows into obseed. For your new measurements, we’ve implemented live webhooks. This means the moment you step off your Withings scale, the data is instantly pushed to obseed—no manual refreshing required.

For your historical data, our new backfill engine intelligently processes years of your past measurements in the background, ensuring your long-term trends are fully populated without slowing down your experience.

Live Sync Progress

To give you better visibility into what’s happening under the hood, we’ve introduced a new live progress indicator. When you connect a new provider and we begin importing your historical data, you’ll see a real-time “Syncing…” banner right on your dashboard. Once the import is complete, the banner automatically disappears, letting you know your data is ready to explore.

Resilient Connections

Sometimes, connections between apps drop—passwords change, or authorization tokens expire. We’ve made our system much smarter at handling these hiccups.

If your Withings (or any other provider) connection is ever interrupted, obseed will proactively detect the issue. Instead of silently failing to sync your data, a helpful warning banner will appear on your dashboard, prompting you to reconnect with a single click. Our backfill engine will then pick up exactly where it left off, ensuring no data is ever lost or duplicated.
