AI assistants
Connect obseed to the assistant you already use. Ask about sleep, HRV and workouts in plain language, log tags and add details to your workouts, right in the chat. Nothing is saved without your OK in obseed.
Called obseed
Yesterday, Sunday 11 October: yoga at 21:16 (about 20 min) and a treadmill session in the morning (7.9 km, 45 min).
Nothing recorded so far today, 12 October.
How it works
obseed speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard assistants use to talk to outside tools. Your assistant asks, obseed answers with your data, and only after you said yes.
Paste https://app.obseed.me/mcp into your assistant's connector settings. No API key, no token to copy around.
Your assistant sends you to obseed. You sign in, see which client is asking and where your data goes, and approve access with an explicit checkbox.
"How did I sleep after the long run?" "Is my resting heart rate trending up?" The assistant picks the right obseed tool, fetches the numbers and answers in the same chat. Tell it about your training, and it proposes logging it in obseed.
Log it in the chat
Your assistant does more than read. It logs tags and adds details to your workouts: notes, label, perceived exertion, how you felt and motivation. Every entry starts as a proposal. Nothing is saved without your OK in obseed.
Add this to today's run: I had stomach pain at km 3 and 4, short stabbing jolts. It eased off after that and I could keep running without any trouble. I fuelled during the breaks between the 15 hard intervals.
I found today's run and propose saving this as a note on that session. Confirm it in obseed.
Tag last night: sauna, two beers
I propose two tag entries for last night: sauna and two beers. Confirm them in obseed.
1. You say it
In your own words, however it comes to mind.
2. The assistant proposes
It finds the right workout or the right tags and creates a proposal in obseed.
3. You confirm in obseed
One tap, done. What you see is exactly what gets saved, free text word for word.
The assistant cannot delete anything. More tools are on the way, and each one follows the same rule: the assistant proposes, you decide.
Setup
Every client below uses the same endpoint. Copy it once and follow the path for the assistant you use.

In the terminal
claude mcp add --transport http obseed https://app.obseed.me/mcp /mcp, pick obseed and choose Authenticate.Needs a paid plan with developer mode
Streamable HTTP with OAuth
Other MCP clients that support OAuth should work as well; we've tested Claude and ChatGPT. Point them at the URL above and let them handle the sign-in.
The same steps are in the help section of the obseed app.
What the assistant can see
Everything obseed has collected from Garmin, Oura, Whoop, Withings and your other connected sources, already cleaned and merged.
Sleep sessions including stages, plus breathing rate during sleep.
HRV, resting heart rate and your health index.
Your workout list, the details of each session and daily energy expenditure.
Body composition and basal metabolic rate.
Daily and weekly summaries, obseed insights and your profile basics.
Your tag entries, the tags you track and a search through the tag catalogue.
Trust and privacy
Once your data reaches the assistant, its provider processes it under its own terms as a separate controller. That is why obseed asks for your explicit consent first and why you can pull the plug at any time.
Sign-in runs over OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, no API keys. The consent screen names the client and the host your data goes to. Nothing happens until you tick the box.
The assistant only proposes entries. Nothing is saved until you confirm in obseed, and what gets saved is exactly what you saw. It cannot delete anything.
Every tool works with the account that approved the connection. Nobody else’s, ever.
Per call: which tool, for whom, through which client, with which inputs, with what outcome and how long it took. We do not store the health data it returns. Logs are deleted after 180 days.
Workout names, tag notes and other free text are handed over marked as untrusted data, so they cannot pose as instructions to the assistant.
Settings → AI assistants lists every connected client. Disconnecting a client revokes its tokens.
The legal details, including the legal basis and your right to withdraw consent, are in our privacy policy.
The obseed AI Chat lives inside the obseed app and needs no extra setup. The connector brings your obseed data to Claude or ChatGPT instead, where you may already keep notes, plans or other projects, so you can combine your training with that context. Use whichever fits the moment.
More about the obseed AI ChatThere is no separate charge for the connector. Your obseed plan decides how far back the assistant can look, exactly as in the app. On the assistant side, ChatGPT needs a paid plan with developer mode; for Claude, your Claude plan applies.
Sleep including stages, sleep respiration, HRV, resting heart rate, basal metabolic rate, body composition, workouts, energy expenditure, daily and weekly summaries, the health index, insights, your profile basics and your tags.
Yes. It can log tags, with an optional comment, and add details to an existing workout: a note, the label, perceived exertion, how you felt and your motivation. Every entry starts as a proposal. You open it in obseed and confirm with one tap. What you see there is exactly what gets saved. The assistant cannot delete anything, and more tools are on the way.
In obseed, open Settings → AI assistants. Every connected client is listed there. Disconnecting revokes that client’s tokens, and it can no longer read or propose anything until you connect it again.
obseed shares data only after your explicit consent and only when the connected assistant asks for it. Sign-in runs over OAuth with PKCE, there are no API keys, and nothing is saved unless you confirm it in obseed. We log every call with its inputs for 180 days, but not the health data it returns. Once data reaches the assistant, its provider processes it under its own terms, so pick a provider you trust with health data.
