What began as a personal project became something much bigger over time.

It all started with cycling — and shortly afterwards the wish of patrick to better understand your own training data. Initial recordings were made via various platforms, but other systems were quickly added. The effort required to maintain all data at the same time was enormous.

Then came the break in October 2018 — in the truest sense of the word: A serious cycling accident with multiple broken hands meant not only a long break, but also plenty of time to think. And to analyze. For the first time, the collected data ended up in a separate database — the evaluations followed promptly. But it quickly became clear that the data was often incorrect and inconsistent. The finding: This prevents you from making reliable statements about your own health and sports data.

What followed was the step towards self-development — initially only for personal use, but soon also for friends and acquaintances. The platform grew — not out of a plan, but out of curiosity, a passion for technology, and the desire to create real solutions to real problems.

No restrictions, no feature lists. Simply develop, test, improve. This resulted in approaches and solutions that were never in demand in typical development projects with large companies — but that is exactly what makes this platform stand out.

After patrick Having achieved initial success with the platform, he decided to form a team to further advance the vision. From his professional network, he brought in friends and acquaintances, at the beginning Dung as an experienced tester. Shortly after, took Fabian, himself a triathlete and coach, contact with patrick on. The exchange quickly developed into a close friendship, and since then has brought Fabian valuable perspectives on obseed from training and practice.

After that came claude, the brother of patrick, as a technical supplement when it comes to processing data. Dann daniel, from whose hand the iOS app for Obseed was created, and finally david, whose expertise lies in analyzing user behavior.

With established domain knowledge and clear requirements, the decision was made: The platform was built from scratch — with a modern tech stack and solid architecture. Today, obseed is the result of this change.
